Short Story Project
Hello! After we finish The Things They Carried, we will be doing a short story unit. Everyone will choose a short story to research and present to the class. • Find a short story you like, which you will present to the class • You will assign it to the class to read as homework, so make sure it’s actually short . • You will give background information about your author and the story’s historical context • You will come up with discussion and analysis questions (you may include a short writing prompt if you like) and facilitate a short in class discussion about your story Here are some ideas for short story authors to explore.
